How to Update CP PLUS NVR Firmware

Step 1: Identify Your NVR Model

Check the sticker label on your NVR and verify the exact model number.

Step 2: Prepare the USB Drive

• Use a USB drive between 4GB and 32GB.
• Format the USB drive to FAT32.
• Do NOT use NTFS or exFAT.
• Extract the downloaded firmware ZIP file.
• Copy the firmware .bin file to the root directory of the USB drive.

Step 3: Upgrade Firmware

1. Insert the USB drive into the NVR.
2. Go to System → Upgrade.
3. Select the firmware file.
4. Click Start Upgrade.
5. Wait until the process completes and the NVR reboots.

Step 4: Factory Reset (Mandatory)

After the upgrade:

Settings → System → Maintenance → Factory Default

This step is mandatory to avoid firmware compatibility issues.
